About The Mind Body Sanctuary
Cathie Drumm's interest in the Body-Mind-Spirit connection evolved nearly 20 years ago after the sudden death of her son. As a result, she had a "health crisis" that lead her back to wholeness by using complimentary and alternative therapies. She also had a spiritual experience at the time that has opened her to Spiritual guidance and an intuitive awareness from The Source, God. She feels called to use this unique gift in her healing work.
"As the ninth-century Irish teacher John Scotus Eriugena says, the body is an echo of the soul. It is a passing expression, but it carries the sounds of the depths of our being. Just as the soul is the image of God, he says, so the body is the image of the soul."
Echo of the Soul

Polarity
Polarity Therapy, founded by Dr. Randolph Stone who was
a proficient scholar in osteopathic, chiropractic and naturopathic
medicine, is an ongoing and dynamic balancing of the life
energy which is the foundation for health and well being.
All life is movement, and movement is a manifestation of
energy. Dr. Stone concluded that there is only one true
disease: the disturbance or blockage to the flow of life
energy. He believed that all pain and illness is a manifestation
of energy imbalance, whereas good health is the result of
keeping the body in balance.
Polarity Therapy develops a
system of balance through manipulations, rocks, exercises,
nutrition and meditation. It is a non-diagnostic holistic
health system, supplementing and supporting medical treatment.
Polarity incorporates cranial-sacral, reflexology, chakra
balance, myofascial release and lymph drainage. These techniques
reduce stress, increase vital energy and promote healing
through self-awareness. The bodywork of Polarity Therapy
consists of specific movements aimed at releasing tension
and holding in the physical body and then balancing the
life energy.
"All pain and illness is a break in the body's vital energy currents. All pleasure is a free, full flow of it."Polarity, having its structure in the traditional
system of Ayurvedic medicine, defines patterns of health
based upon the concept of energy movement. The practice
of Polarity will focus on the flow and balance of energy
as the foundation of good health.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis will help you deeply relax. It will help you to
release the acute and chronic stress we constantly carry
in our bodies and our minds. It can help you remove the
blocks and obstacles to your inner peace and joy and to
prevent and heal stress-related illness and disease. In
transpersonal hypnotherapy, there is an emphasis on the
innate spiritual resources within each individual, along
with the assumption that the guidance of a higher power
will prevail within the therapeutic relationship, synchronistically
bringing those insights and experiences that lead to the
client's highest good.

Reiki
The Japanese Kanji in the center of the logo means Reiki which is spiritually guided energy. The upward pointing triangle represents humanity moving toward God. The downward pointing triangle represents God moving toward humanity. Because the two triangles are united and balanced, they represent humanity and God working together in Harmony. The inner sixteen petaled flower symbolizes the throat chakra or communication. The outer twelve petaled flowers symbolizes the heart chakra or love. The complete logo represents Reiki uniting God and humanity in harmony through the communication of love.
The word "Rei" means Universal. In Reiki, it is interpreted to mean higher knowledge or consciousness. This is the wisdom that comes from God or the Higher Self and is the God-Consciousness which is all-knowing.
The word "Ki" means the same as Chi in Chinese, Prana in Sanskirt and Ti or Ki in Hawaiian.
Ki is life energy. It is the primary energy of our emotions, thoughts and spiritual life. Ki is also known as the vital life force or the universal life force. This is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki is the non-physical energy used by all healers.
It is the God-Consciousness called Rei that guides the life energy called Ki in the practice we call Reiki. Therefore, Reiki can be defined as spiritually guided life energy.

A Word About Oils
When purchasing essential oils, look for the "cold pressed" version. Although more expensive than refined oils found in supermarkets and many health food stores that contain petroleum residues from the solvents used in the extraction process, cold pressed oils, such as those from Young Living are 100% pure therapeutic grade and contain the plants natural essence. Cold pressed oils are wonderful for the BODY-MIND-SPIRIT and the environment, too!
You can go online to youngliving.org and order directly using my number 1130090. If you are interested in becoming a Young Life Wholesale Distributor, you may use my number to register and then apply for yourself!
